| I like that it doesn't conform to the frame; I might have been tempted to force into a thirds-grid. The pattern of the rug and the pattern of the light seem at odds. The burnt colors and the itchy fibers add further -- well, tension. |

| Art of the Mundane: So you see the sunlight passing through the blinds and hitting the rug, you twist your head at a certain precise angle that only an artist can measure, you create an imaginary frame, and then you stop for a tiny moment. If you happen to have a camera at that tiny moment, then you can share your vision with others. Otherwise, it is yours forever to treasure. |
