I like your idea, but the napkin background takes away from the apple, my eyes are drawn to the seam and the folds instead of the subject |

I really like the lighting you chose, not entirely sure about the background. 6 |

Radical, dude. I like this. The shadow's pretty cool too. |

Having the apple in color would have helped this... |

I think the folds & the overlapping napkins detract from the photo. But I like the b/w & the shadow. Good idea! |

Not enough constrast for my taste. It looks a bit flat. I love the idea though. |

Colour would have been better. I like the shadow cast by the "object". |

Papertowel background???? This could have been a great shot with the proper lighting & background. Also, black and white doesn't seem appropriate. In fact, without the title I wouldn't know that was an apple. Keep trying. |

Very creative! You achieved the theme well, without even using color! Nice job, good luck! :) One of my highest ranked of the pics |

Beautiful lighting and composition. I think I might like a different surface than paper towels, but doesn't affect my scoring. This is excellent. |

o.k. idea but let down by the execution in my opinion. The apple is so dark that detail gets lost, the paper surface is uninteresting and disturbing. What if you had taken half an apple, flat underneath, and put it in another surrounding ? |

I think a plain background would have helped bring the focus right to the apple. Nice idea though! |
