It occurred to me that this image might be yours Richard. Glad to see you make an effort for this challenge. We are coming to camp in Moraine RV park Aug 23rd-24th. Maybe we can hook up and take some pics somewhere? |

What an amazing view and sight to see! Gorgeous landscape and love that moose in the water. My only wish is that I could see more. It be fabulous to see the moose more closer so that you could show off all the great details of this wild animal. Don't know if the large file would give an opportunity to crop closer so the the moose is larger and dominates the bottom left corner more. My eye would then gaze up from that corner to then see the beautiful mountains blanketed with the clouds. Still a fabulous shot and was surely amazing to experience in person. |

It's a little-known fact that bears like moose, feel a kinship with them. It's not uncommon to see groups of bears congregating in the early morning at the edge of shallow waters to watch the moose feeding and exchange friendly jibes back and forth with them. Clearly, this moose is in the act of formulating his riposte to the watching bears. Well done!
I miss the mountains. But I'd miss the ocean more.

It's a Bear kind of place, and my spirit rests easy in it, even at this remove. For that sense of peace, that feeling of "all's well", I give you a Bronze Bear Paw.
