| Although there are some good elements in this image, it doesn't work for me. the only real focal point - arguably the stones in the middle and/or the stick across the creek - are not strong enough to carry this image. A shallower depth of field might have helped, or a closer crop. Too much vying for my attention. |

| What I'm seeing in your photo is grey and some more grey. Really need to work with those shadows to hit this challenge on the head. |

"Take a photo in which the background is black and the subject is predominately a black as well."
I feel that this does not meet the criteria based on the wording. The subject should have been black, and there is not a black background. |
