I saw the head against the alley shadow as black on black. I loved the blue and clouds of the sky too much to leave it out of the shot.

I guess I was naive, but when I saw the screen with all the thumbs I would not have expected all black thumbs, I knew I was destined for brown.

I love the perversity of meeting the challenge but making it very difficult to tell that you're meeting the challenge. It's an intriguing photo on its own as well. interesting composition.

black on black??? sorry don't get it at all. Maybe i'm missing something but I can't even manage to shoehorn this into the challenge description.
