 Macro of 2 different green bushy things next to each other. I liked the combination of the 2 green tones. Not only is the bush intricate and very complex, nature itself is a very complex thing, which this photo also symbolises.

I'm gonna get murdered for the shallow DoF and the border, but that's just my taste being shallow DoF and plain borders :)

I WILL NOT BE CHANGED! Hehe :)

Its good picture and awsome colors but but tight focus doesnt show much of complexity.

This image has grown on me each time I've viewed it. It's now among my 10 favourites for this challenge.

I really like the simplicity of presentation of a complex subject. The colours are incredibly vibrant. The shallow DOF works very well, especially because I think you've got the plane of focus in exactly the right place. I like the way I can see the detail of the design of this tree in that plane and yet just the shape of it in front of and behind the plane. I think what I'm saying is that I like the way the plane of focus is not the foremost part of the object. Composition works well for me with the curve enclosing the bottom left corner and the other main branch thrusting out from top right to lower right.

This is a really nice shot. Rich color. Interesting focus. I little bit of a stretch for the challenge, but not enough of a stretch to affect the score. 8.

Nice composition and colours. Depth of field is very shallow and I think it draws the aye away from the detail.

Cool subject. Would be nice to see better focus on the branch coming toward theviewer on the right

Too many focus points in different locations. What this means is that as my eyes go from one place in focus, to another, to another, the eyes travel over areas that are not in focus, causing them to strain a little with each movement. Try to simplify the focus.
