This isn't your typical bird shot, showing a very person -like-pet. this shows a big cold reptilian style eye, looking askance. But What I really like about this shot is the fact that the focus is on the shoulder of the bird,(not the bird's face) the place where the colors are most forceful, the place where orange meets blue, the biggest impact. The bokeh colors compliment these colors perfectly, with pale ethereal pillows of green and blue.
Maybe I am thinking too much into this, but I like the colors and the risk you took to enter a shot with missed focus on the eye. |
