 There is nothing more complex than our climate and weather. Clouds are the only visible manifestation of this incredible natural system.

The image is deliberately ambiguous with no reference points. The human mind is programmed to try to resolve confusing images in terms of recognisable patterns. We firstly look for faces.

This one is straight out of the camera. Cropped and re sized only. Probably a bomber due to lack of obvious visual appeal but I like my idea and find the image absorbing.

Critique Club Review:

Thinking outside the box is always risky. Especially with voters and a ballot box. (Sorry couldn't resist the pun.)

I think this might have worked better in a challenge with more dramatic clouds. (Unfortunately, the weather seldom reads the website for the current challenge.) The bottom of the frame does look a bit muddy, either less well defined clouds or an abberation of the lens/camera. The picture does strike me as a bit cool and darker than needs be. Contrast could be a tad higher also. Very interesting concept and interpretation of the challenge. This picture does show a high degree of thought and creativity.
