I was scared to death of this spider, but I had to find a web somewhat quickly, so I went ahead and forced myself to deal with it. I had the idea of photographing a web for this challenge as soon as I first saw it, and I haven't had a better idea since, so I went with it. I've been very busy, so this is a bit of a last minute entry. I am pretty sure people will complain about the blown out highlights and oversharpening, but I like this as it is.
Editing: Resized, cropped, USM, Neat Image, curves, conversion to b&w, hue/saturation, sharpening, adjustment layers. I had a hard time choosing between black and white and sepia. |

| A lucky capture with the spider on the web! The light in the upper-right corner of the photograph is a little bit distracting but not enough so to affect my overall impression of the photo. Beautiful shot. |

Super! This is great. Nice angle, and the background isn't too simple, like the other spider web shot I just voted on (it was pure black background).
