| Close-up of the left-hand side might have been more interesting: the box is distracting. Lighting is also too harsh and flat |

Good subject, good interesting camera angle.
Bad flash. Bad, bad flash!! The lighting really ruins this otherwise fabulous photo. The direct on-camera flash makes for flat light that doesn't show textures or shape, makes ugly shadows (for instance beind the coils of the big spiral coil at the bottom), and nasty glare like there is inside the case. |

| i think if you just framed the 'workings' it would be more 'complex' |

| the lighting does not help the image -it seems too flat and the flash reflection in the box is too obvious |
