 Image taken at Luray Caverns in Virginia. I went without my tripod and this is one of the few I managed to get still. The exposure was 1/2 second.

Simple yet very complex. The white traingle on the bottom edge is a bit hot. Great study in form and texture.

Beautiful cave formations, however, it seems to be a bit blurry, and looks like there are lots of artifacts (especially on the columns to the right). I'm guessing that you shot it handheld at a high iso, and then tried fixing it. Good try at a difficult scene.

This idea is similar to my own submission for this challenge. It looks like your camera was unable to capture the image properly under the low light conditions of the cavern. Detail clarity and subtle color distinctions got lost. My camera has trouble with that too. I suspect this looked a lot better in person.
