 I annoyed him with a twig and he adopted an aggressive, reared-back stance and separated his fangs. The information I've read only tells me about the female's bite, but I don't think I'd like to try the male's either. (And if he ventures about while she stays at home, wouldn't it make sense for him to be armed and dangerous too?)
Btw, this shot is not minimally edited, but my entry is.

Marion, when did you turned into such a kamikaze? I never would have thought you would "play" with these buggers like you did here :) Great shot though.
