 Cockpit of a P-51 Mustang. This plane flew in WWII and there are a few kills recorded from this airplane.

Due to the way the light was coming through the hangar doors it was much brigher on the right side.

Image modifiations:
Slight levels adjustment
Slight color adjustment to get the greens to match more of the real life color.
Cloned out the legs of someone in the edge of the picture.
This image is NOT cropped at all. It is the full image as it was taken.

Definitely meets the challenge! But it looks like it was taken with the camera's builtin flash. Ugh.Flat, nasty lighting and harsh shadows and no textures. Next time try not using the flash, or find a way to bounce the flash.

Although the cockpit is very complex, the square on look, as well as the colors do not lend well to an eye-catching photograph. Maybe a different angle/perspective would help. The other thing that bothers me in the photo is the difference in the top right of the canopy compared to the top left canopy. The bright glare draws my eye up to that corner.

This is really scary--although I know it makes sense to pilots. Perhaps a helicopter cockpit--not familiar with this at all.
