Building upon Mike's comments.. it's very odd how his hands are, since they are not holding anything and we have no link to even what sport is being portrayed. Overall, the pose seems very awkward and peculiar.

Any time you do a portrait like this, watch the feet. Cutting off the feet makes the image "unstable".
