To me, the head looks a little odd just poking out like this. The crop is not tight enough to be a "portrait" but too tight to get a sense of the animal in it's environment - it's kind of in a no-man's land for me. In addition. the focus is a little off on this one. I'm giving it a 4

Good focus and DOF. The crop could have been better imo. Whatever is in the bottom right of the shot is somewhat distracting.
