 saw a similar shot on the interwebs.

This is a combo of two shots, The ironing board never moves. The first shot, my son sat on the counter with his jeans draped over. The second shot, he stood there Ironing his shirt and jeans. combine the two, matching up where the feet appear out of the flattened jeans.

I wanted to have him simply Ironing his jeans with his shirt on, but that didn't work. I drew in the cord in some spots.

The background was a bit distracting, but necessary to hide the imperfections and photo shopped elements.

I'll bet you and your son will always remember this episode! I think the background is perfectly suited and love the creative effort - congrats!

Enjoyed this and thought it was smart to keep it snapshotty and incidental - lends more credibility to the illusion than if it were all fruity with processing. Would have a good entry for the fool the viewer challenge as well.
