I like this very much. I can see the koi as metaphors for the water babies. I like the feel of it and the color of it. Nice job! 8 |

Comment Challenge: I love the color and motion in this. However, the fish in the middle, and just to the right of center has two heads. That looks like a mouth with the upper left fish about to swim into its jaws. |

6...I don't know that this has anything to do with the besides the title, but it is pretty. My one gripe would be that I wish the fish at the top had a bit more breathing room. The fish at the bottom looks lovely in all her chiffon. |

Nicely done. I'm not familiar with the story, but in looking it up, I can let my mind go with this one and it works for me. I like the softness and the blur. I like the palette. Nicely done. -7- |

Whilst i haven't read the book, it seems to me that it is about moral education. I can see the connection to fish and like the flow in the image. I find the colors and blending of colors works well to portray this fable and I see it as a modern representation of an old piece of writing. A 6 from me |

I really love the colours and motion of this image. The painted feeling works well and I could see this on the cover of the novel. 8 |

I like the color and the motion here. The framing is a little weird, but that may have been unavoidable. I have not read the book, only the synopsis, so I am unsure of the water babies are represented as fish or something else entirely. 6 |

Fits better than expected really. The image here seems to really work for the novel in unexpected ways.
The motion blur is really quite well done too.
A bit of artifacting/oversharpening will keep me from giving this all the love it could have gotten, but I think a 7 is deserved. |

I know these fish. Love the color and the filigree and the sense of depth even in a shallow pool. Water yes, but babies - ok transformed into water creatures, maybe. 6 anyway for visual appeal. |

A bit of stretch from this strange tale. Kingsley was a distant relative of my partner's; as well my father and his siblings were models for the American illustrator of a later edition. Later, Kingsley did really go off his rocker, and your fish maybe illustrate his strange intense energy more than anything else. 5 |

I can see this as an interpretation of a water baby. The person is a fish until redemption.
The image looks like watercolor. I like that. The one distraction for me is the yellow wisps at the top right of the image. They keep pulling my eye away. Overall I like the image.
Gave it a 5 |

Always a pretty scene with the blurry fish, and it fits well with the novel's theme. A god shot too.7. |

Let it be known I'm a sucker for color and blur. This is just gorgeous! Beautifully saturated and love the sense of motion! Very nice! |

A pretty semi-abstract image. A competent version of something I've seen before. I haven't read the book but at least there's a connection with the title. 5 |
