 It isn't Autumn here but I saved these leaves from when it was. There is precedent for entering against one's natural season. [user]Bear_Music[/user]got a yellow ribbon for his effort.
I held these up to the sun and the colour appears much more colourful than the browns of reality. The sun lights the leaves up orange where they don't overlap, but the brown remains where they do.

I think I would like to see a lot more detail when a photo like this is taken. The idea and composition are well done. But to see the subject this close and not see the crisp detail of the structure...
