| Nice detail shot, but I would prefer the light reflecting off the pine cone to be more subdued (too bright). I might also prefer more crispness on the needles (but that might distract from the pine cone). |

| I'm probably not alone in saying that I'm not sure this qualifies for a "landscape" picture. It's a very nice macro, and worth high marks, but I have to take one or so off for not meeting the challenge (I don't mark down hugely for that). |

| Great photo of a pine cone. Doesn't have too much to do with landscape though. Focus and lighting look great. 7 waltoml. |

You wont fool anybody into believing this is a landscape by the title.
Does not meet the challenge at all. You score 1for the border. (If it had fit the challenge i would have scored 4 because it`s out of focus).Sorry. |

| This is a nice shot of a pinecone. I think if the cone was at the left of the frame it would be better. A nice use of dof as well. Colours are sharp, and the cone is in focus. I scored you lower though, as IMO it does not meet the challenge. jgillard4 |
