This genre of low-fidelity photographs (my favourite genre) is so difficult to execute well. This picture is a fabulous lesson in the difference between the genuine article - which this is - and the faux stuff. Many will dismiss it without thought and thus deny themselves the opportunity to marvel at the beautiful composition, so elegantly apt, and the masterful ordering of the graphic blocks from which the picture is built. Will fail as well to grasp that the eloquence of the picture derives from what is withheld. Other than the title of course, because that's heartbreakingly meaningful. Thank you.
