Pretty striking :-) But you know what? The tilted "horizon" of the water level just bugs the heck out of me :-) Harder than heck to align the the lip of the bowl and the water level both, isn't it? Anyway, I gave it an 8. Surreal colors, great job, congrats!

I like the blue coming through the glass, the way it contrasts with the orange. you suggest a larger world outside the bowl that he can dream of but not achieve. so this is your theme of negative space as a dream, or a dream as negative space.

Nice quirky entry that really stands out from the pack. Beautiful colors well edited. I am not sure if I like the out of level water for it's twist of weirdness more than I want it flat. Tied for top vote.
