| beautiful waves of light on the waves of water. The stick protruding is our visual anchor. By being there, it makes everything else "negative space" |

To my eye, this just seems a little too "busy" to really qualify as "negative space". Otherwise, and interesting shot.

Details: Use the surrounding space of your subject to create the wow of the photograph.
Interesting. I think this might meet the challenge as well, if not better than, anything else I've seen so far, and does it in an unexpected way. |
