| Excellent rendering in B&W. The "look of determination" is superb. Would work better with some of the right side cropped off. |

| I wonder what this was like in color. While I like it this way I miss the yellow of his beak and eyes. I also wonder how he would have looked in a vertical photo. All this said I still think this is a fine image and I rate it a 7. |

Beautiful bird, and nice use of B&W. The subject could have been shot at a different angle or off center to add some spice to the composition.

| Brave move going with b&w...I really like how it sets off the head...and the highlights on the body. Excellent image. |

| Great shot, maybe a slightly different crop would work even better, a little of the righthand side maybe... |
