 The background is the source of light. I took a photo of some canvas and had that displayed on my TV. The bottles are supported on a black tile.

For me, a strange background which doesn't bring out the glass in the foreground. But at least it's not the same as all the others like it.

Nice image, and for some reason I see it as a bit exotic. I can't say why. The edge of the fabric (bric-a-brac?) showing through the piece on the right is distracting for me.
