Comments Made During the Challenge |

As much as this makes me want to vomit, it does fit the challenge. The grass is a very busy texture, I don't suppose you could have moved this shot to a more uniform background? |

I hesitate to make comments since I am obviously not an expert, but here goes: the photo meets the challenge, but I find the subject matter too depressing. So, I didn't score it low, but I didn't score it as high as others. |

Very disquieting, and sad... the ending of a life, in what appears to be a rather savage way...

Very disturbing subject. It has a washed out appearence. I find there is a bit too much competetition between the textural detail of the fur and the gras and dry leaves. Perhaps a very low angle of view would have enhanced the drama of the subject? |

The most disturbing photo of the challenge. You have captured and transmitted the emotional agony of the animal and the emotional agony we should feel over the senseless slaughter of animals. The photo is very busy. However, the chaotic busy-ness of it contributes to the sense of chaos so I guess it works in this case. There are some jpeg artifacts but it is probably due to the busy-ness and the failure of jpeg to compress a busy image very well. Congratulations on a great photo. |

Definately eye-catching, but poorly framed. A tighter focus might have eliminated some of the clutter from the debris on the ground, and followed the challenge more closely. |

These are literaly PARTS. You could use different angle or don't crop it so much. Where do you find such "parts" for God sake? 7. |

I think I'd would have liked to have seen more contrast - the colours appear a tad washed out - the colour deepened a bit. This is a striking photo. |
