What I really want and appreciate is critique, comments good or bad that enable me to reflect on an image, what has worked what hasn't, something tangible that I can learn from - I learn nothing from a silly symbol without any accompanying comment. The other comments here are far more constructive and useful to me, I welcome and value them. |

The symbol is representative of my highest score for an image in the challenge which was voted below five. (for this image 7 given) The fact that you may not appreciate my comment - with or with out words is irrelevant to me.

| Thanks for the info, Sid. There are many days (weeks! months! years!) when I feel dumber-than-dirt at dpC. I'm usually pretty bright, but not here. Thank you also for being nice about my question; there are some nastily reactive photographers here that really resent questioning. You're one of the good ones. |

Sorry Kathy, but you weren't alone! It would appear to have been far too subtle for most people here but glad you understood and appreciated it Nadine, thank you both for commenting.
The title, by the way, was a play on words, the piece being the completion of an elephants tusk in the jigsaw but also signifying task complete as in last piece of the jigsaw - ah well!
