 This was a challenge for me, trying to find dead flora that would make an interesting image. I tried everything from trees to grass, non appealed to me. Finally I noticed my Wisteria bush in my front yard full of dead vines just great for weaving a crown, so...with much work and thought I put this image together with the dead flora challenge. Hope it does well.

I like the idea. The rather harsh light and shadow cast on her cheek by her nose spoils is a little for me.

The fillet of vines -- are dead vines this pliable? -- is confidently supported by this pretty young girl with the thoughtful or sad expression. Her red hair and brown eyes are very appealing. I also like how she's set off against the black field.

Lovely lighting and idea. I wish her left eye was sharper but I love the tones, her solemn contemplative expression and her natural look which is perfectly in keeping with the simple little crown. Nice portrait. Voted earlier; back to comment.
