 We have an umbrella tree right outside our window. It blooms around January (our summer) and the rainbow lorikeets love the berries. Those birds are incredibly loud in a very unpleasant way. The squawking and screeching gets so bad that I can't hear myself think at times.

Good thing they are also stunningly beautiful to look at.

I shot the photo straight out of my kitchen window (with a flash). Little post processing involved. Just in case you're wondering about the colours - they really ARE that vivid.
