 Wouldn't you know it, my "go to" location was closed. Snow/Ice caused the SNP to shut down Skyline drive. Mountaintop views not available. :-(

Well ... as long as we were on a road trip we decided to take in some side routes. Rolled past this view and I had to turn around and take it in. Probably not the best choice for a "Masters' Free Study", but what the heck, I like it. :-D

Serene pastoral scene. I like how the image flows from gently rolling terrain to a swath of woods to encircling mountains to a big sky. I love the color of the structure's roof.

A nice pastoral view - love the old shed beyond with the rusted roof. I likwe the grays of the trees, but am not overly thrilled with the way the editing affected your sky.

What's going on with the sky in this? A sliver is brighter than the rest?

I'm not sure what you were trying to achieve with the editing. This beautiful rural scene doesn't look like it needed much editing at all, but for me the sky is now very dark, with that odd band of brightness over the hills, which is where my eye goes.
