Also one of my top picks. Just such a monumentally interesting image. |

Very appealing black and white of an unusual perspective on the passing scene. The dusty mirror is a lens in itself, to a prior world, maybe. Philosophically rewarding. |

Simply the best. Cannot look at this without starting to sketch in details not seen in this moment. You know the "picture is worth a thousand words" saying? It's almost never true; most pictures are barely worth a sentence. But this one is worth a hundred thousand words: I imagine it as the cover of a novel, and I want to read it. Or write it. Thank you. |

The mix of modern and ummm... not so modern is quite awesome! |

Stunning!
Has the air of Pearl Buck's stories - I long to see the rest of the street, the back of the house, to follow that woman in her daily chores

The all-seeing voyeuristic eye. Quite intriguing, especially the dragon face and the bit of English on the faded sign.. "advancement despite life's twists and turns" - very apropos. |

A glimpse into the 1920s. Masterful image. Trying to figure out how you hid from the "eye". The dragon is a great touch, as is the 73. Enigmatic symbols abound. |

Unexpected. I like the round with all of the other straight lines ad angles. The woman is a bonus. :) |
