 Just two guitars against a black velvet background. Thanks to Raquel and Ketan for lending me their guitars. I wished they were of the same color and that I was able to spot edit the white dot on the edge of the guitar on the right.

Shot in raw mode. For lighting I used a light box on the left side and an incandescent bulb on the right. Both were positioned higher than the guitars.

Post processing: image rotation, levels, curves, color adjustments, crop, resize, Neat Image, USM, border.

Canon 24-70mm f2.8L USM

Perfect exposure and selection of colors combine in an excellent composition. One of the best in th challenge.

This is a fantastic shot. I think I would have bumped it up even one higher if the guitars were exactly cut in half ( cropped)

Very, very nice composition. Very creative. This has great lines. I really like the "s" curve you've accomplished. I feel very rich tones. Awessome lighting. I should hope this shot will do very well in the challenge. I really like it.
