 Shot against black felt, tripod based. Cropped, light USM in lightness channel, small curves adjustment to set white and black points. Really tough to light this satisfactorily without a real studio. Ended up with two halogen lights from above and side.

Title based on the fact that Serena Williams uses a Wilson Hammer. Not this exact one, but similar...

you did a good job with your lighting here as it came out with a comic book, kind of magazine ad feel. It looks really good and really professional like it was done in a studio. how did you do the background? what was your lighting setup?
