My first Gila Monster sighting ever! I was very excited. It ended up camping out in the crack of a tree for a while, conveniently letting me get close and take way too many pictures.

this is really cool, i'm a herp lover and have a gecko, i know how hard it can be to snap an interesting shot...looks like he's on the run or just hiding out, the rocks on the side give it a rough natural feel

Cool. The patterns of the tree and of the lizart skin are neat together. Nice title too. :)

Looks like a gila monster. It's a little fuzzy on my monitor but it does meet the challenge. 5
