 My wife's souvenir from Mexico on a black cloth-draped chair. near a north-facing window in early morning light plus one overhead daylight bulb at 10+ feet. Tripod mounted camera set at f22 for good dof.

Hello from the Critique Club

This shot meets the challenge and is technically well executed.

The lighting is a little un-interesting though and does not help give this a WOW
factor that would lift it in the voting.

You might like to re-visit the subject and try some alternative takes on composition
and lighting to see how a single subject can be made to look very different depending
on treatment and approach.

For example:

Try daylight on one side with a reflector (or white sheet of paper) opposite to fill in the shadows
Try a shallower depth of field to focus on the face and throw the body out of focus

You'd be surprised at the learning curve of shooting around a subject and trying to get different
looks...

I look forward to seeing more of your photos on future challenges.

The contrast is a bit to strong for my liking and I think you lose a lot of deatail in the figure because of it.
