Interesting image. it looks like you burned the sky or did something selectivly to the sky, or tree as there is a visible line on the left most branch. .. nice background and nice contrast between the branches and sky. The framing is a little stale perhaps.. it is rather locked and doesn't create tons of interest. Perhaps up the constrast a bit.. the image is pretty middle grey everywhere...
good start.

Could be very intewresting, but IMHO it is too dark and therefore you've lost the detail in the shadows. The overall tone needs attention as well.

I enjoy this part of the forest where light, shadow and shape collide. Ansel Adams wa-na-be. The contrast is wonderful. I was mesmerized seeing large branches and holes in clouds vanishing into each other. Ten plus thanks. |
