| Where are Osprey's raising young this time of year? |

| Unflinching image of the pecking order of power and rapaciousness. Perhaps it's due to the somber implications of the title, but these ospreys (?) are particularly unappealing. She's hooding her food from the powerless masses, to extend the metaphor, who look rather scraggy. Nicely detailed and composed, and though the presence of her entire left wing might have been nice, it also might have detracted from the compactness of the picture. |

| If it weren't for the title I wouldn't have a clue that this is intended to have anything to do with "politics." Kind of a shoe horn for me. |
