Excellent DOF

find this too overwhelming - crowded - don't know where to focus attention

too complicated to look at

Just a small part of a whole picture of the "keys to the soul" I like that you focused on one "part" of the whole. Like the challenge stated. And the b/w lends to the whole perception of the canvas in which you painted an awesome photograph!
Well done! A ten! ok, a nine! :P

Great concept. I wouldn't blure the background so much, but I like it a lot the way it is as well. 9.

Interesting art, good composition. My personal inclination would be to have just a bit more in focus to help identify the object.

Nice b/w use. like seeing the valves open.

Not quite enough of the parts in focus.

GOod shot although I feel a little more DOF would have worked better here.

Excellent lighting, subject and DOF. The angle and the B&W really make te image. If I was being really picky I would say the light area of background at the top of the shot detract somewhat, but I'm not being picky. Very well done.

I find the right hand side of the image very distracting.
