I had a similar idea, but didn't manage to get a photographing permit from the railways authorities on time. My asking nicely approach was rejected nicely :-) "You really need a permit, a you will surely get one if you stop by the central office on Monday". My kit lens is not long enough for shooting from a distance. |

The fascinating textures and patterns make this my top pick of this challenge. Perfect desaturation and a well thought out composition really keep this photo from becoming a disaster with the sea of chaos happening in this scene. Skillfully executed! |
