This is a play mat that fits with others to keep my toddler from concussing himself. He's taken to using other, harder objects to do that, so I figured I'd use it in a challenge to get some ROI out of it.

I tried a focus-stacking experiment to stretch the depth of field but it didn't work out. I was too close, I think, so as I adjusted focus it threw off the perspective enough to confuse Photoshop's merge capabilities. Believe it or not this was shot at f/51.

Bland and virtually colorless in real life, I shot it with the intention of a B&W conversion to play up the contrast.

AndreiD, it is a great album. Well spotted. I've gotten lazy with titles, often using whatever I'm listening to when editing (as I did here), but I thought the "bright lights" had a nice dual meaning here.

Love the DOF and lighting. The strips starts out vertical then horizontal and back to vertical with focus. Top 3 hopefully
