I was going to do a macro of the veins in a skeletonized leaf, but I don't have a lens that will let me do macro yet. I also considered contrasting a live leaf with a skeletonized one. When I took the shot I saw the shadow of the skeletonized leaf and thought it looked cool. So I took a second leaf and suspended it in front of a light so the shadow would be approximately the same size as the other leaf and vuoala.
