I have these Carpenter style bees, and they infest the wood on one side of my garage. but they are slow, and I usually take out a few dozen with a badminton racket. I hate to do it, but it seems a better plan that poisoning my children, the earth, etc. When you knock them down they go from life to lifeless, hope they had a good run.8
