This is one of the best shots I've seen in a while. Period. I can't believe this didn't score higher. |

It was a dark and stormy night...
Great gloomy emotive feel to this. |

I like the tree and reflections... just big shade at left is quite distracting. |

After a second go-around, I kept coming back to this shot.
Superb use of B & W.
Well Done and bumping up a notch to ((8)) |

Beautiful image with excellent processing. Elements in the distance combined with rather dense looking clouds with subtle reflections create this absolutely wonderful image. It's a stunning piece of work. |

Bit on the foreboding side, nice shot. Great DOF. What f-stop and lens did you use? 8 |

Great mood, toning and good idea to use the fallen tree/plant, it makes the image work.
The horizon might be better a bit lower, not rule of thirds lower but just a little bit more away from the middle. |

this has a very breathtaking presentation but the tree is a bit too close to center(vertically) and Im finding it really hard to focus on anything in the picture. The contrast is perfect, but I think it needs a different crop. 8 |

Nice textures however the sand to the left of the tree looks a liitle too dark and draws my eye way from the focal point. |
