Lighting and focus is great on this picture. You have some nice details visible in the texture of the number one. I think a vertical composition would have better complemented the vertical shape of your number one. While the shot is an excellent studio shot what is lacking in the composition is something that gives us a sense of scale. Something that we know is small paired with the number would give your audience a clue that this is a close-up shot as opposed to a very large number. Maybe a billard ball with the number one on it...something that gives a sense that the number is actually small.

I thought this was a lovely image. Where did you find such an interesting number? I noticed the few dusts spots - but not a lot you could do about that with minimal. Well done.
