A very nice concept and certainly well defining. I would have included more of the the left hand thumb. Bumping up on composition.

Good idea and I think the harsh lighting works well, but I don't like the lack of sharpness

What beautiful hands. The short hands suggest they are functional hands, they have character, but are still soft and look gentle.

the watch band is somewhat distracting

The bracelet/watch is distracting. It would be better if you had either removed it from the shot, or had more light on it so that it would be more visible, and thus less distracting.

Well done! the lighting on the right palm (left side of photo) is a little distracting... But that's just me, and what do I know :)
