 Shot this today just in time to enter. My mom isn’t crazy about her hands. She doesn’t like the spots and the signs of aging. I see them more emotionally… the love, the caring, the tenderness as I was growing up. They’re what I think of first when I think of my mom. For me, they’re her defining feature.

A very nice and tender feel. i would have used a more advantageous position for the left hand. Bumping up on composition and soft lighting.

I like the pose you and your model struck here -- it really is a portrait of her hands with her other features much in the background. .. good eye
