Brown town! :-) Never came last before. Nice to have this on my CV!

I aught to explain this photo. It's not just a shoe horn. Not really. It's a capture of one of the most captivating shadow plays I have seen. Towards sunset there was a very curious set of reflections bouncing off about twenty windows in my neighbourhood, and all of these shone through branches of trees in the garden, through my window and onto my bedroom wall. Must have looked at the shadows for twenty minutes. Towards sunset's wane I decided I aught to shoot the thing. The photo was not supposed to do the scene justice, but in a strange way it felt like the most appropriate way to celebrate the spectacle.

I feel like I should say that I was neither drunk nor high when this played out! :-) But, happily, with the full control of my faculties, I sat memorised by the projection of light and life's terribly intricate dance on the plane of my bedroom wall.

title: spot on for how people perceive the self-boasting - a projection to everybody else
subject: spot on to how many people feel after witnessing an american show of "america-ness" in full force: vaguely aware of something bright and loud-looking in front of them, with a general haze accompanying it
