"What is a Smith Premier No. 2, Alex?" This is beautiful. The crop is very tight, but it doesn't hurt the photo that much, I don't think.

Would have been better if the bottom were not cropped. Different lighting would have allowed more depth of field and sharper focus. I would be good to see this additional detail.

What an awesome typewriter. I have a vintage typewriter of my own, but it's details are not nearly as impressive as this old Smith Premier No 2. I would liked to have seen a closeup shot of some of the more intricate details. All those gears and rods would likely hold enough interest up close to make a better photo than what seems more like a referential product shot.

A nice studio attempt. I think the crop is a little tight at the top and bottom, and you've got some vignetting in the two right corners. The focus falls off in wierd places as well, and the lighting seems to be a bit flat. You've got a good angle on the subject though, and for the most part the clarity is good. Keep working on these types of shots.. I know *I* am :)

I just can´t understand your crop on this. You just barely cut of the lower left half, why? Also you need more light from the right side too, looks like you had too much backlighting. Good shot none the less, where did you dig up this antique, they sure do have character over laptops.

Antique road show here we come. I love antiques. What did they call these keyboard thingies again? I like the angle and the introduction of a light source to cast shadow. Thanks for photo.

nice idea, not sure if I like the white background - makes the rest of the picture look a little blown out.

I like the angle, but not the fact that the top and bottom corners are cut off. Perhaps pulling back a little to include the entire typewriter would have been better.
