 Photographer’s Notes
Shot something appropriate back in June for the Local Flavor challenge. It would have been easy to reshoot that, but I tried a different French bakery called Aura Bakery. Carlos did the honors with the Latte. And the croissant’s even better than the French Bakery nearby. Not interested in repeating myself if I can help it.

Critique Club Review:

Color Saturation and Hue: Colors are realistic

Brightness and contrast: image is mostly well lit, the lights on the croissant are a bit hot.

Focus and depth of field: clean and sharp

nice clean sharp image, the crop could be adjusted to center the plate perfectly inside the border.its a nice setup up against a nice backdrop.

So... For the really important question... By the time you finished the 7 images, was the coffee still hot enough to enjoy? One of my favorite images of the challenge.

7 x 40MB originals took awhile. I hope this will be a counter example to all the 'bad HDR' photos folks complain about.

Great exposure and beautiful perfection in the sharpness and beauty of the objects. The composition would benefit from rotation IMHO.
