Yes, I agree that the focus is in the wrong place. Since I took this photo when travelling I had no option to go back and take another shot with the right bits in focus though. The reason I picked the photo for the Free Study is that I love how the colours turned out. I normally never edit my photos (this image is only slightly cropped), meaning that if the colours don't look nice right out of the camera I don't use the photo.
Now, in arrears I should probably take more photos of the same object, to ensure that at least one of them ends up with correct focus :)

| Nice use of colour but feel the focus is in the wrong place, i would of removed the flower head bottom right and re-shot this with the point of focus being the yellow centre of your big flower. |
