critique club:
nice composition and processing, i think i'd like to see the trails not leave the image and come back. the maintain adds a nice sense of scale and adds interest to what would be a pretty boring background. the trees in the front are too dark and weight image too much to the bottom. maybe lighten them up so the focus in on the planes. |

Excellent image. Ideally, I might prefer to have a bit more on the left so the entire sweep of the contrail/smoke. |

A vivid silhouetted pattern. We know how exacting this maneuver is, yet here we have it playing out against the gauzy serenity of a beautiful mountain under a wispy sky. A wonderful contrast is set up here, the transition being those sweeping contrails, from sharp to windblown. Nice balance. |
